One lance, one life, one input. Only one will survive.

Use your mouse, or touchscreen to charge at your opponent to spear them with your lance. Aim your lance into the ground to use it as a pole-vault and gain aerial superiority. Your lance extends the faster you are going, so attacking is your only hope.

Technical issues:

  • This is my first game, so it's not as polished as I would have hoped for.
  • Refresh the page to remedy all issues 😅
  • This is a 1v1 multiplayer game, so you may need to find your own opponent
  • The server is hosting this on jousting.herokuapp.com so a cold startup can take up to 15 seconds.

how does the multiplayer work? do both people just have to be on the itch.io site and it will connect automatically?

Yep, that's right!  (If you can't find anyone - you could get an idea for how the game works by opening the game in 2 tabs).  

I have also just added a trailer showing the gameplay

I think next time I'll make sure to add single player as well!
